Parking fines
Please note that parking fines (ECNs) are administered by a shared South-Vale team at the Vale of White Horse District Council.
Parking fines of up to £70 are imposed for the following offences:
- no ticket displayed
- ticket run out
- not parked in a proper bay
- parking in a disabled bay without a valid disabled badge
- parking in a space for more than 24 hours after a fine has been incurred

Please note: All parking fines from South Oxfordshire District Council have the format XC123456 (XC followed by 6 digits) on the ticket. If your parking fine has a different reference number, please refer to the contact details on the fine ticket to find out whom to contact regarding paying your fine.

You can pay by debit or credit card, by telephone on 0845 303 8506.
Pay by cheque
You can also pay by cheque, bankers draft, money order or postal order made payable to South Oxfordshire District Council, and post to:

Parking fine appeals
All appeals must be in writing by the driver of the vehicle. If you wish to appeal against an excess charge or parking fine, you can do so using the online form below:
Alternatively, please write to Commercial Services at the address on the back of the excess charge, providing an explanation so that the matter can be given due consideration.
