Bus pass and travel tokens

The council's concessionary fare bus pass and travel token scheme offers free travel for men and women of pensionable age, the disabled and their travel companions who permanently live in South Oxfordshire. 

The national bus pass scheme allows pass holders unlimited free off-peak bus travel anywhere within England on local bus services.  The scheme does not include long distance services such as National Express or travel in Scotland and Wales.

The scheme offers free travel from 9.30am to 11.00pm on weekdays and all day at weekends and bank holidays. However travel in South Oxfordshire District is from 9am.
