Concessionary fares: Bus pass and travel tokens

The council's concessionary fare bus pass and travel token scheme offers cheaper travel for men and women over 60, the disabled and their necessary travel companions.

How to apply for a bus pass

If you are looking for a bus pass application form, go to our "How to apply" page, or download the application form from the menu on the right.

The national bus pass scheme allows pass holders free off-peak bus travel anywhere within England on local bus services.  The scheme does not include long distance services such as National Express and does not include travel in Scotland and Wales.  The national bus pass can be used on Park and Ride services and such places as The Isle of Wight, Isle of Mann and Central London.  To find out more information about the national bus pass, please follow this link.
