How to Apply
We decide whether or not to interview you for a job, from the information you give us on your application form. It is therefore important that you give us clear, relevant information and that you answer all the questions.
Before you start, read the job description, person specification and any other information you have been sent.
You can use the person specification by thinking how your own experience, knowledge and skills match the specification. The Council recognises that experience and skills can be gained in a number of ways, not only through paid employment. Applicants will be assessed on how they meet the requirements stated in the person specification. Please type or write in black ink, as these forms will be photocopied.
Data Protection
The Council is registered under the Data Protection Act 1998 and holds some information about job applicants on our computer systems. This data is used primarily for statistical purposes and to monitor our equal opportunities policy. View our data protection policy.
