Council housing

Although the council no longer owns any houses (having sold its housing stock to South Oxfordshire Housing Association in 1997), we still help people in housing need to find a home.

We do this by helping people to find privately rented accommodation and by nominating people on its Housing Register for Housing Association properties. The council can nominate people for most (but not all) Housing Association properties rented and shared ownership homes.
