Inspectors' Reports
Between May and December 2004 a Public Local Plan Inquiry was held into the South Oxfordshire Local Plan 2011. The purpose was for an independent Inspector to consider any unresolved objections to the Plan.
In June 2005 the Council published the Inspector's Report for the main Inquiry session, and the Inspectors’ Report for the second session concerning growth west of Didcot. The second session was conducted by two Inspectors as a joint inquiry with the Vale of the White Horse District Council.
The main Vale of White Horse Public Local Plan Inquiry was held between May and July 2005 to consider objections not concerned with the Didcot West proposals. Further information is available from the Vale of White Horse District Council (follow the link on the right to visit their website).
Local Plan 2011 Proposed Modifications
On 15 December 2005 the Council resolved to adopt the South Oxfordshire Local Plan 2011 without any further modifications. The plan was adopted on 20 January 2006.
