Evidence Studies
A key to the progress of the local development framework is an evidence base. PPS12 states that local planning authorities should prepare and maintain an up-to-date information base on key aspects of the social, economic and environmental characteristics of their area, to enable the preparation of a sound spatial plan meeting the objectives of sustainable development.
We have a number of formal studies already completed or underway. These include:
