Evidence Studies

A key to the progress of the local development framework is an evidence base. PPS12 states that local planning authorities should prepare and maintain an up-to-date information base on key aspects of the social, economic and environmental characteristics of their area, to enable the preparation of a sound spatial plan meeting the objectives of sustainable development.

Throughout the production of our documents we involve stakeholders and the public and this helps inform our decisions. You can view the consultation responses we received have already received to our Site Allocations Development Plan document We will add consultation responses to other documents as we go through the process.
