The Council holds details of all Planning Applications submitted within the district since 1948. (Applications received but subsequently falling within areas transferred to other authorities during boundary changes will have been sent to the new authority). We also hold copies of all Decision Notices, the Local Plan, Listed Building entries, Tree Preservation Orders, Legal Agreements, Conservation Areas, Enforcement Notices etc.

We have four dedicated PCs in our reception area for our software system known as the "Public Interface". This is a geographic based computer system, which can be accessed to look up the planning history for any property or land within the district. It has been designed to be 'user-friendly', and customers are welcome to come in and use it at any time during normal office hours.
