Conservation area management
The Council also now has a duty to draw up proposals for the preservation and enhancement of conservation areas. These proposals
seek to establish guidelines for the management of change in the conservation area to allow for development and alterations
to keep the conservation area vital without losing the characteristics that make it special. For further information on the
