Grass, shrubs and hedges
The Council maintains some areas of open space in the District. Grass areas are generally cut ten times during the growing season and shrub areas maintained on a three weekly cycle. For further details contact Environmental Services.

Open spaces
Most parks and play areas are maintained by the local town and parish councils.
Roadside verges
Oxfordshire County Council is responsible for cutting the verges next to roads. For more information phone 0845 3101111, email southernarea@oxfordshire.gov.uk or visit the County Council website.
