Service plan

Our service plan sets out our performance and quality targets for the current financial year and states the services we provide. The annual plan takes into account:

• Council Policy and local issues and priorities
• Central government requirements, including legislation (Acts of Parliament, regulations etc.)
• Customer research (including customer complaints and compliments)
• Staff input
• Resources and finance

Enforcement policy

Our enforcement policy sets out how we ensure compliance with food hygiene and health and safety legislation. The purpose of the policy is to ensure that enforcement decisions are always consistent, balanced, fair, targeted, accountable, transparent, proportional and relates to common standards to ensure the public is adequately protected.
