Corporate plan

The council considers that the quality of life of the communities of South Oxfordshire is of utmost importance. In seeking to maintain and improve that quality of life the Council has agreed a Statement of Strategic Intent and 8 Strategic Objectives. The Strategic Objectives provide a framework for the delivery of the Council's services, help it to set priorities, to allocate resources, to develop partnerships and to measure its success in meeting the needs of the communities it serves.

Statement of Strategic Intent
To work in partnership to maintain and improve the quality of life in South Oxfordshire.

Corporate Plan

In order to translate the council's Strategic Objectives into measurable targets, the council has published a Corporate Plan. The Plan contains:

  • Our key aims and priorities
  • Our performance against the targets set by Government for the year 07/08 and our targets for improving our performance over the next three years
