Best value reviews
Best Value Reviews are designed to be the principal means by which authorities consider new approaches to service delivery and set demanding performance targets for all services, so as to deliver continuous improvement. The reviews are the central process for achieving best value and must consider:
- What is currently provided, why, how and by whom
- How the service compares with other service providers
- The users and residents expectations of the service
- Fair competition as a means of securing efficient and effective services
