Funding advice
Looking for funds?
Specialist funding advice is available from OCVA (Oxfordshire Community and Voluntary Action), who hold funding advice sessions on a weekly basis and have access to sophisticated grant searching software.
The council’s grants team can help and advise organisations that are looking to identify external funding sources for projects that will benefit the residents of South Oxfordshire.
The council offer the following type of grants:
- Community Investment Fund - for community projects, such as such as spending on buildings or equipment
- Revenue Grants - for short term activities/one off projects
- The Young Achievers Award Scheme
- Disabled Facilities Grants
Other funding opportunities in Oxfordshire
The county and district councils within Oxfordshire have collaborated to produce a booklet entitled “Funding Opportunities in Oxfordshire”. This booklet lists grants issued by each council (Cherwell, Oxford City, South Oxfordshire, Vale of the White Horse and West Oxfordshire District Councils and Oxfordshire County Council), as well as giving general funding advice and listing possible funding sources.
