Homophobia Awareness

Reporting homophobic incidents

If you have been a victim of homophobic abuse and wish to report it, please contact the Homophobia Awareness Liaison Team (HALT) on 01865 243389 or visit the Homophobia Awareness Team's website.

Alternatively, you can report a non emergency incident directly to the Police Call 0845 8505 505, the 24 hour Thames Valley Police non-emergency number.  In an emergency always call 999.  It is an emergency when: a crime is being committed, there is a risk of injury, or a risk of serious damage to property.  To find out what you can expect when reporting a homophobic incident to the police, download the leaflet from the menu of the right.

Equally, if you would like to find about more information HALT, what homophobic hate crime is, your rights, signposting to events, and tips for personal safety, use the link above.
