Community safety
The community safety team is involved in a range of work to help reduce crime and the fear of crime across South Oxfordshire. This includes:
- to work closely with our partners on the Community Safety Partnership to deliver the priorities in the South Oxfordshire Community Safety Strategy
- provide a comprehensive and joined up approach to tackling problems of antisocial behaviour through a team of council and police antisocial behaviour officers based at the council offices
- support Neighbourhood Action Groups in finding and implementing solutions to their priority community safety issues
