Flood Awareness Month - image of flooded road

Following the recent flooding in Oxfordshire the council supported Flood Awareness Month throughout October 2008.

The campaign, organised by the Environment Agency, and supported by the National Flood Forum, the emergency services and councils in the Thames Valley region, aimed to provide advice and information for people who have been affected by, or are at risk of flooding.

The following useful flooding guides from the campaign are available to view/download from the menu on the right:

  • Environmental Agency Water Course Maintenanace
  • Flooding - Thames Timeline
