Important news about our core strategy
Latest news on our Local Development Scheme
We are in the process of revising our Local Development Scheme as a result of the delays to the progress of our core strategy.
You can download the previously agreed timetable (as agreed in February 2009 ) on the right hand side. However for the most up to date information on our core strategy, please click on the important news link above.
What is a Local Development Scheme?
The Local Development Scheme is a work programme showing when the council will be preparing new planning policies for the Local Development Framework. You can use it to find out which existing planning policies are in force and when public consultations on new policies will take place. You can also view or download a copy of our approved Local Development Scheme 2008- 2011 from the menu on the right.
If you only want to access the timetable, a separate file containing just the timetable is available from the menu on the right. You can also view or download a copy of the letter from the Government Office for the South East confirming the revised Local Development Scheme.
Alternatively, you can view the Local Development Scheme at our offices in Benson Lane, Crowmarsh Gifford. Our offices are open between 8.30am and 5pm Monday to Thursday and 8.30am and 4.30pm on Friday.
