Sites submitted for development
On this page you can launch the interactive map showing area submitted to us to consider for development.
Important information about these sites
- The sites on this map have all been put forward by landowners and their agents, not by the Council. They are sites that people would like us to consider as potential development sites.
- Just because a site has been put forward at this stage does not mean it is suitable for development. We made it clear in our publicity that we are looking for sites around Henley, Thame and Wallingford and the larger villages, but people still chose to submit other sites.
- There is still a lot more work to do before we select individual sites. Some sites may not comply with our chosen option and some may have constraints that make them unsuitable for development. We need to take a wide range of constraints into account including flood risk, biodiversity and nature conservation, green belt, landscape designations, agricultural land quality, accessibility to services and other relevant factors. We will test sites against all the sustainability criteria in our sustainability appraisal report which will help us assess their suitability.
- You can view a number of constraints on our Interactive Proposals Map
