South Oxfordshire Partnership

The South Oxfordshire Partnership (SOP) is the Local Strategic Partnership (LSP) for the district.  An LSP is a body that brings together the Council with other public service providers in the area and representatives of the business, voluntary and community sectors.   LSPs are based on local authority boundaries but do not provide services themselves.  The Government requires all local authorities to set up an LSP to produce a Community Strategy.

The Oxfordshire Partnership (OP) is the  Local Strategic Partnership for Oxfordshire.

SOP meets around four times a year and is made up of 14 members from the public, voluntary, community and business sectors.

Please use the links in the menu on the right for:

  • SOP's response to the South East of England Regional Assembly's South East Plan
  • Community Strategy Annual Reports
  • Rural Transport Review report - a SOP report that uses existing data and information about transport in the district to identify gaps in provision. The report contains an action plan, and progress against the actions will be reviewed twice a year.
