Heat network project

We have been working with partners to consider the possibility of building heat networks in the Didcot Garden Town area of influence.

Heat networks are groups of buildings linked together by pipes, which supply heat from one central energy source.  One key project could potentially use waste heat from Didcot Power Station to provide heat to local business parks.  Other possible networks could be based at Culham Science Centre, Harwell Campus and the site opposite Didcot Railway station, known as Gateway South.
