Current and upcoming Road Closures

Details of upcoming road closures can be found below:
  • *ongoing - Whitchurch Bridge - closed for strengthening works, currently expected to reopen in July
  • *28 July for 6 months - Didcot - diversions will be in place around Foxhall Rd to allow for improvements to be made to the railway bridge.  The alternative route for traffic affected by the closure is via B4493, A4130 Didcot Perimeter Road and Basil Hill Road
  • *14 August - Wallingford - eight day closure of St Leonard's Lane for emergency gas works
  • *18 August - Henley - temporary closure from Greys Road from its junction with Duke Street and Church Street for eight weeks for gas mains renewal works
  • *18 August - Goring Heath - temporary speed limit of 30mph at B471 Crays Pond to Whitchurch Hill for three days
  • *27 August -Benson - Littleworth Rd will be closed between 9pm and 5am to allow for sewer cleaning
  • *20 - 25 August - Mapledurham - one-way restriction between Lilley Farm and Cross Lanes for Reading Festival
  • *26-28 August - Henley - Gillot's Lane will be closed to allow tree works to take place
  • *8 September - Stadhampton - footpath closure at Ascott Park for three weeks
  • *1-5 September - Binfield Heath - Emmer Green Road will be closed to facilitate carriageway maintenance work
  • *1-5 September - Ewelme - The Pighties will be closed to allow for edge strengthening
  • *8 September - Beckley - temporary closure of Bungalow Close for up to five days for carriageway maintenance works
  • *10-12 September - Binfield Heath - closure of Dunsden Way to facilitate a new service water connection
  • *12 September - various locations - rolling road closures (100.5 KB) Word 97-2003 will be in place during the day between Wantage and Chinnor for the Tour of Britain Cycle Race
  • *15 September for eight weeks - Sonning Eye - temporary closure for through traffic on Playhatch Rd for carriageway maintenance works.
