This is a fulltime post on a Permanent contract, working 37 hours a week.  This post is at Grade 5, with a full time starting salary £28,119 - £33,225.

Brief Overview

This is an exciting opportunity to join a newly-formed team to help two of the most integrated district councils in the country tackle flooding.  Using your engineering expertise, you will provide specialist advice on all aspects of flood risk management in the Vale of White Horse and South Oxfordshire Districts in Oxfordshire.

Dealing with a wide range of people, from other engineers and partner organisations to councillors and members of the public, you will be responsible for working to safeguard the district and our communities from flooding.  Using and building upon your experience, you will work in line with the Council’s Corporate Plan to protect and enhance the quality of the district’s built and natural environment.
